The Lucky Horseshoe plot
After the death of the rancher Hunt, foreman Tom Foster is put in charge, daughter Eleanor is too young to do that. Tom falls in love with her, but doesn't want to propose. The girl goes to Europe with an aunt, returns two years later and has a boyfriend, Denman, with her. This is a nasty little fellow, but for now he manages to checkmate Tom. Tom doesn't mind that.
