The Honeymoon's Over plot

Donald and Betty are a newlywed couple. Because they both work for the same advertising agency, they can easily afford a lavish lifestyle. They happily spend all their money on fast cars, country clubs and booze. However, they begin to change their lifestyle after they encounter three social profiteers who drain the newlyweds. Realizing that their lives have left them deeply in debt, the lovers attempt to adopt a healthier, more frugal lifestyle.
