The Family Skeleton plot

Billy Bates believes he inherited his love of the bottle from his father. When he moves near a pub, he quickly finds himself on the fringes of society. Poppy Drayton is in love with Billy and wants to help him. She leads him to believe she's been kidnapped. This is how Billy discovers he can live without alcohol, if love is involved.
