Kenneth works as a travel guide at the Arberloch visitor center. He dresses up as the eighteenth century philosopher and inventor Sir Douglas Weatherford, from whom Kenneth proudly claims to be a descendant. When the village is put in the spotlight as part of a major television series, many costumed fans flood this site. Kenneth's mental health is tested.

IFFR '26 recommendation: this "boomer-critical" film certainly didn't bore me and remained surprising and moving until the very end. A story with a laugh and a small but sincere tear. An original nod to fantasy/cosplay madness and dadsplaining, and the film also has a documentary element.
