The Dictator plot
Aladeen (Sacha Baron Cohen) is a rich and ruthless dictator who is held hostage. He is replaced by a naive goat herder, who looks exactly like him. With the help of Zoey, a beautiful and generous Zen Shop owner, Aladeen tries to regain his power. He must prevent his country from falling into the wrong hands at all costs.

Another wonderful film with Sacha Baron Cohen aka Ali G, Borat, Bruno and now 'The Dictator' Admiral General Aladeen. Haha how do they think of it.
This movie has more than entertained me. I've had to laugh many times and I must have said that it's a kind of humor that you have to love. If this isn't your sense of humor, you'll probably find the movie bad or ridiculous. Just like many people Borat had been shot down the wrong way.
Sacha Baron Cohen is just a genius comedian. Always laughing at this man whatever and whoever may play!

I had to laugh quite often in this comedy with sometimes wonderfully wrong jokes and sometimes genuinely witty moments. But just as often the film falls a bit dead and even those few 85 minutes never fully captivated me. Probably because of the story that serves as a coat rack and is not strong enough, although that shouldn't matter in such a film. So no idea what it was about. 2.5*.
