The Christmas Spirit plot

Cole has spent the last twenty years burying the trauma of his sister's death, for which he was blamed. This experience, which occurred on Christmas, was so traumatic that the Ghost of Christmas was summoned, but became trapped in Cole's mind. This Ghost, who takes the form of a muscular wrestler, is trapped and can only be released if Cole "sacrifices" someone. Cole refuses to do this, preferring to live a life of isolation and refusing to accept that the Ghost of Christmas is anything other than his own madness and grief over what happened to his sister.
