The Catch plot

In the village of Kaipara Harbour in New Zealand, the annual fishing competition is held. The winner earns a large sum of money. The day before the competition, friends Brian and Bill catch a very large sea bass. Brian, who has financial problems, wants to keep the fish alive and pretend to catch it during the competition the next day. Bill is strongly against this.
