Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) and Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis) are two North Carolina politicians with presidential aspirations. When Brady, the already serving congressman, becomes involved in a sex scandal, Huggins sees an opportunity to challenge him for a seat in their district's congress.

With Will Ferrell you know what to expect and even as a shrewd (or rather not) politician he certainly does not disappoint. The film ridicules the American circus surrounding political elections and that sometimes results in hilarious moments. The Campaign is otherwise not a high-end comedy, but entertaining enough to look away with a modest smile on the face.
