In itself there is nothing wrong with this film, but on the other hand it also has nothing to offer at all. The story itself is interesting, but not much else happens. He goes after his ex-wife as a bounty hunter because his job is to report her to the police, he finds and catches her very easily. And then they have to run away from their pursuers together and he has to try to keep her with him in order to report her. Nothing more really happens. There are no really exciting chase scenes, no good dialogue, no really nice humor etc. etc. Just nothing at all.

The ending itself was funny. Of course you see it coming from miles away that they fall in love again but that he first reports her to the police and then makes sure that he even ends up in jail to be with her[/ spoiler]. That made me smile a little, but nothing more. Due to the not-too-standard ending, I don't give it the very lowest, but unfortunately I can't give this film a satisfactory either.

Typically a film that seems to me only for fans of Gerard Butler and/or Jennifer Aniston. I can't imagine that others will enjoy this average story, which is oh so predictable. In any case, I thought it was very mediocre, although it was nice to see Carol Kane again for the first time in years in a cameo as a hotel keeper. But hey, a movie can't float on those few short scenes.

"Wait, you're telling me that I'll get five grand to go pick up my ex-wife and bring her to jail?"

Jennifer Aniston in yet another rom-com. Oh well, it's formula work, but not annoying to look at either. Aniston and Butler also don't have bad chemistry and, despite the mediocre and predictable script, still manage to convince. And that's what it's all about in the end, with Aniston certainly coming into her own in these kind of rom-coms. I didn't want the crime plot and it only makes for an unnecessarily long playing time.
