Eccentric Charles has won the lottery and hopes that his favorite musicians, Nell Mortimer and Herb McGwyer, will reunite on stage for him. His dream comes true when the former lovers accept his invitation and come to perform at his home on his private island. Nice.
The idea is brilliant—and apparently used previously in a short film, of which this is a remake. That also explains why it feels a bit thin, as if there wasn't enough material to fill the running time. And perhaps the cast also shoots a bit too short to compensate, or perhaps the direction lets that down.
Anyway, it's a pretty fun video and refreshingly different. And it offers some counterbalance to all those thoughts about wanting to move to a deserted island someday when I grow up.
