That Certain Age plot
Brave reporter Vincent Bullit has just returned from the Spanish Civil War. His boss, the newspaper magnate Gilbert Fullerton, wants to send Vincent to China. But first he invites Vincent to write articles on European affairs in peace and quiet in his house. Alice, Fullerton's grown daughter, falls in love with Vincent, and her boyfriend, Ken Warren, isn't happy about it. Gilbert and his wife Dorothy, Ken and even Vincent, want to talk Alice out of this crush. However, this is a difficult task, because she is "that certain age."
