Thalassa, Thalassa plot
In a bare and virtually empty Romania, the schoolboy Fane one day finds a dream of a car in an old barn: a white Jaguar that drips with (criminal) dollars and western luxury, as it were. With five friends and a girlfriend, Fane takes an exuberant ride in the dream car. They don't know how to stop. They want to go to the sea. But then the journey becomes more and more dangerous because of Romania forsaken by God and everyone. The brave journey claims its victims and the children begin to take each other's lives in an increasingly mature way.
