Sztálin Menyasszonya plot

Paranya is a village idiot who cannot express her thoughts. Though the villagers treat her like an animal at first, they show concern when the naive Paranya is captured and tortured for claiming she is Stalin's betrothed. The utter stupidity of the soldiers and police results in needless questioning of the speechless woman, and they eventually begin to suspect that she is a spy seeking to sabotage the government.
