Surprised by Love plot
Josie Mayfield is a no-nonsense businesswoman who works at her father's company. She's convinced her boyfriend Richard is the perfect man for her, but Josie's parents see it differently. When Josie runs into her old high school sweetheart, Maxwell, who hasn't accomplished anything in his life yet, Richard hatches a plan: Josie should take Maxwell to her parents' anniversary party. If they see their daughter with such a loser, they will do anything to get Richard back. However, things don't go as planned.
