Sunny Jane plot

Jane Dwight has an overactive imagination and invents romantic stories in which she is the heroine. When oil is discovered on her father's farm, young millionaire James Thornton comes to buy the land. He is attracted to the boyish Jane and offers to send the girl to boarding school. A year later, Jane returns from school and pretends to be a grande dame, hoping to please Thornton. Thornton seems disappointed by her change.
