Sul Mare plot
During the high season, 19-year-old Salvatore shows tourists the island he lives on by sailing around it with his boat and enjoying his easy life. A group of pretty girls, a mother who takes care of him and the sun is all he needs. Outside of his summer job, Salvatore, like most male islanders, works in construction and is poorly paid. Then he meets the sad Martina, who comes to the island to dive. They have a romantic night and Salvatore is head over heels in love. However, his happiness does not last long; soon Martina returns to Genoa and does not hear from her again. Salvatore is almost broken and his parents send him to a psychologist, but he is too proud and does not tell anyone about his great grief. And then Martina is back on his doorstep.
