Studs plot
Irish amateur football club Emmet Rovers FC is in trouble. It's the same thing every Sunday morning: putting on a football shirt, chasing a ball for 90 minutes, and taking losses time and time again. Sometimes they are even beaten up by the opponents, the rule rather than the exception. If there is also the threat that their practice field will be taken away by project developers, the morale of the team has completely disappeared. A mysterious man steps in as their new trainer, and then "magical" things happen.
