Stella di Mare - Hilfe, Wir Erben ein Schiff! plot

Things are not going well for the Prantners from Vienna after sixteen years of marriage: mom Nina (Beimpold) is fired, dad Friedrich (Steinhauer) loses his customers from his shaky company for good, daughter Marie (Böhler) stays, while the youngest doesn't. appears to have a predilection for good grades. Then Nina inherits from her godfather Sepp a pompous luxury yacht that lies in the Italian port of Grado. Of course the ship turns out to be an unsaleable wreck in reality, but the sun, the palms, the Italians, the spaghetti and the wine should not spoil the fun. When Friedrich wants to return to Vienna, he is stopped by the women in his family.
