Stadtlandliebe plot
Anna and Sam are hip, green Berliners from the Prenzlauer Berg. She's a heart surgeon, he's a copywriter. Constantly under stress, the couple longs for change. Why not move to the countryside? And so Anna opens her own practice in Kloppendorf and Sam takes this opportunity to finally write his novel there. But in the countryside, not all that glitters is gold. The purchased house is dilapidated, in Anna's practice the receptionist Gertie rules with an iron hand and the residents, led by Volker Garms, are constantly on the lookout for the newcomers.
