Soccer Dog: The Movie plot

New to town and to make friends, Clay Newlin decides to play soccer. Much to his chagrin, he becomes the center of all manner of bullying by his teammates. Then he meets Lincoln, a street dog on the run from the dog catcher. Soon they are inseparable. During the second game, one of Clay's teammates is injured. Since there is no one to replace him, the coach decides to use Lincoln. To everyone's surprise, the dog turns out to be able to play soccer. With Lincoln as the super striker, the team proves unbeatable. Then something catastrophic happens: Lincoln is caught by the dogcatcher.
