Smarty plot
"THE SMARTEST LAUGH HIT OF THE SEASON!"
In front of acquaintances, the teasing Vicki embarrasses her husband Tony by laughing out loud about something trivial. Tony slaps her and a divorce ensues, spurred on by attorney Vernon, who has a crush on Vicki herself. Vicki and Vernon then tie the knot themselves, but it isn't long before Vicki's mannerisms begin to demand Vernon's patience as well.
