Siegfried plot
As a child, Siegfried is dropped off the Rhine in a basket. It floats down the river until the blacksmith Mime finds it and picks it up. But after a few years they want to get rid of him again in the village. When Siegfried is walking through the woods one day, he meets a girl. He is madly in love, but she doesn't like him because he is poor and she comes from a royal family.
