The story is set at a college sumo wrestling club. The trainer, Anayama, is a longtime sumo champion who finds it a thorn in the side that the current generation is more interested in Western sports than sumo wrestling. He blackmails student Shuhei to join the weakened team, otherwise it will fail. However, Shuhei is rather thin and his team is actually made up of a bunch of failures. Together they start training for the championship, even though no one is really interested...
