Seeing's Believing plot

Diana Webster and her aunt's fiancé, Jimmy Harrison, are caught in a storm and forced to spend the night at a country inn. There, they are seen by Bruce Terreng, a friend of Diana's brother, Jack, and Bruce forms his own conclusions. Returning home, Diana sees Bruce as her brother's house guest, and unable to convince Bruce of the innocence of her predicament, she plans to prove to him that seeing isn't always believing.
