Frank Swedlin (Robert Hays) is a TV crime journalist suspected of attempted murder. When he wants to prove his innocence, he comes across a gang of counterfeiters. In this he sees a fantastic investigation, which should mean his breakthrough as the greatest investigative reporter of all time.
