Gad Elmaleh has settled in the United States for three years. Now he returns to France without daring to admit to his family that he did so in order to convert to Catholicism. When Gad's parents hear the news, it's a nightmare: their son couldn't have been worse off. Determined to return Gad to Judaism, they turn his conversion into a battleground. However, Gad will succeed in making it clear to them that his genuine love for the Virgin Mary does not detract from who he is or the love he has for them.
