Prosperity plot
The year is 1925. Maggie Warren is the matriarch of a banking family that has run the Warren Bank for years. After her son John Warren marries Helen Praskins, Maggie hands over the management of the bank to him. Maggie and Helen's mother Lizzie Praskins don't really get along. They tolerate each other just for the sake of the children and grandchildren. But then comes the stock market crash followed by the great American economic depression, which puts the Warren Bank in trouble.
