Only worth seeing Johnny Depp in a lame movie when he was 20. The hunt for tits and horny adolescent humor are the main ingredients of this naughty comedy, which is just manageable for 80 minutes due to the rapid succession of comic situations. I sometimes wonder if there is still an audience for these types of films.

yes....there is still an audience for this

A Nightmare on Elm Street was Depp's first film role. He has a larger role in this film, but it is not a real leading role. The story has too many different characters for that who can also claim this role. Rob Morrow as Ben has more substance in his role and there are more antics to be had with him. In addition, Hector Elizondo as The Maestro and especially Tony Azito as Reeves who oversees the rules of the holiday home are great fun. Feminine beauty is also not to be despised given the presence of Karyn O'Bryan, Leslie Easterbrook and certainly Hilary Shepard who, during a kind of strange yoga/zen moment, suddenly allows herself to be admired from a very naked side. By the way, those moments are pretty hilarious. Agreed about the adolescent horny humor, but the crazy situations and the easy lightness throughout the story make for a big smile. 6.5/10

Definitely one of the better teen comedies that were released at a rapid pace in the 80s. I think the intro is still on the predictably bland side with humor that must have been stale at the time. But after this it gets better and better and a full-blooded (doors) farce develops with colorful characters, chases and of course a truckload of beautiful ladies, scantily clad or otherwise. The storyline is simple but effective enough for a series of situations that provide the necessary hilarity.

Good direction for a production that takes place entirely in a hotel and around the swimming pool. The acting is perfect for this type of comedy. Also an opportunity to see Johnny Depp at work in his second film. Of course everyone remembers his debut in the horror Nightmare on Elm Street but he is also excellent in this comedy.

For me, a very amusing entry in a genre that now seems dead and buried.
