Possums plot

"Dream Big... Never let reality stand in your way."

The Notawa Oklahoma football team is not highly regarded. In the last thirteen years, the players have not scored a touchdown and no villager regrets that the Possums are being eliminated. Except for local football reporter Will Clark (Davis), who stoically continues his radio work pretending the Possums are winning the state championship. Everyone gets excited about the Possums again, but the real state champion's coach is angry and insists on a game against the Possums.
