Porta un Bacione a Firenze plot

Simonetta is in Florence to recover from eye surgery she underwent in the United States. She meets the sculptor Alberto. He is introduced to her by an old count, who is a friend of her father. Soon Simonetta and the sculptor fall in love, but his model Maria - who also loves him - tries to prevent a relationship between them. When Simonetta is temporarily blind again after a car accident, she thinks it better to leave. Alberto regrets her decision.
