Por la Libre plot

The grandfather of a family has passed away. He leaves a sum of money to a friend who lives in Acapulco. His wish is that he be cremated so that his ashes can be scattered over Acapulco Bay. While the family is arguing about what to do with his house and financial affairs, grandson Rocco runs off with the Mercedes, which his grandfather left to his other grandson Rodrigo. He wants to go to Acapulco to fulfill his grandfather's wishes. When he steals the urn, Cousin Rodrigo sees him leave. He comes after him and the two eventually embark on a journey that will bring them closer together.
