Plötzlich Türke plot
The young and successful musician Jim has a German mother and a Turkish father. One day he is summoned by the state archives of his home city of Hanover. They have some surprising news for him: Jim is actually Turkish and his German identity papers are not valid. He expects this to be a simple misunderstanding, but his journey through the German bureaucracy becomes increasingly absurd. To make things right, he goes in search of his Turkish father Mustafa, who left him and his mother when Jim was a baby.
