A triptych of comic stories. In the first story we see a Countess Valentina Contarini who has serious problems with men. The second is about an insurance agent who wants to be sure of his wife's fidelity. He puts her to the test, dressed as a mysterious lover. In the third story, Siro Sante owns a famous racehorse, but in reality he has long since pledged the animal for a loan.
