François and Charlotte run a gastronomic hotel and restaurant by the sea, but their marital relationship is not good. Obsessively tough, François wants his first Michelin star, while Charlotte, in her early forties, dreams of having her first child. This already complicated situation will literally explode the day Charlotte's first husband, Alex, appears in their lives, when everyone believed he was killed in the devastating 2004 tsunami.
