"The Philosopher's Stone."
One rainy afternoon, old bank employee Paresh Dutta finds a mysterious stone. This stone turns out to be a 'philosopher's stone', as the metal can turn into gold. Dutta soon rises in prestige, and manages to keep his secret hidden from others. Until he gets so drunk at a cocktail party hosted by businessman Kachalu that he performs a magician act and turns things into gold. Kachalu discovers Dutta's secret, but no one believes him. Frustrated, he reports to the police, with the information that Dutta is a gold smuggler. Dutta is arrested and brought to court. Dutta has to prove his innocence, but in a panic he gave the stone to his secretary, who swallowed the stone. How is Dutta supposed to prove his innocence?
