A public service and transport strike paralyzes all of France. Paris, Lyon station: Marc Roux, an ambitious executive, is nervous in the absence of the train for Rome, because the next day he has to sign a decisive contract for his career. On the platform he meets Vincent Disse, someone who remains imperturbable despite the chaos. Despite their differing views, they have something in common: they both want to reach their destination on time.
