Dad and Mum live on a piece of land with their family. Life is hard. They are suffering from a drought and Dad owes money to old Carey, a wealthy neighbor. Moreover, Dad is driven crazy by his not very bright son Dave and his younger son Joe, who makes slapstick out of everything.
