North Dallas Forty plot

"Wait till you see the weird part."

Phillip Elliott (Nick Nolte) plays for the North Dallas Bulls. More than anyone else, he knows that the life of an American Football player is not smooth sailing. He and his teammates go to great lengths to perform. They get their kicks from their popularity and go completely crazy at parties where the women are at their feet. Phil is getting harder and harder with their mentality. When he meets Charlotte Caluder (Dayle Haddon), he realizes once again that he has other goals in life than being a star player.
