Nicht ohne Meinen Schwiegervater plot
Psychologist Ulf (Janek Rieke) wants to marry lawyer Sarah (Julia Stinshoff), but there is an obstacle: his future father-in-law Heinrich (Fritz Wepper). This soured former judge is a stern man who only wants the best of the best for his beloved daughter. Things go wrong after the first meeting: Heinrich thinks Ulf is an absolute loser who he doesn't want near his daughter. Ulf tries his best to pose as an ideal son-in-law, but the more he tries, the lower he falls in Heinrich's esteem.
