Navy Blues plot
"Hold Everything for THAT WONDERFUL WHIRLWIND OF GOBS, GALS, and GLEE!"
Lilibelle Bolton and Margie Jordan work in Honolulu as dancers. A naval ship docks and on board are Cake O'Hare and Powerhouse Bolton, Lilibelle's ex. Lilibelle and Powerhouse meet and since Lilibelle should still receive alimony from him, she asks him for the money. To get rid of her, the two men claim she was asking questions about the ship and Lilibelle is arrested on suspicion of espionage. Cake and Powerhouse try to make money by betting on the upcoming archery competitions. They use inside information because they have learned that the excellent gunner Homer Matthews is coming to reinforce their ship.
