"A man's desire to escape...and finds refuge through metamorphosis"
John is a postman and a poet in the making. He is inspired by the Greek legend of Philemon and Baucis, in which an elderly couple transforms into two beautiful trees. Maples, to be exact. John is so impressed by the story that he decides to plant himself in the backyard. He hopes for a transformation.
