clutter.

Very mediocre film by Maas. A director I expected much more from beforehand. It's a shame, because I was really looking forward to this movie. However, after 10 minutes I had already completely figured it out, so the story isn't very original anymore.

The twists don't work, and Wallis de Vries, Minis and Van Doesburgh aren't exactly funny. Either it's a big dose of female humor or not. Sometimes I definitely understand the criticism of society, especially at the beginning.

Better used to Dick Maas. Better move on with the horror/comedies about Sinterklaas or something like that. Kees Boot was a bit more fun. For the rest, a film that is difficult to sit through.

Not so bad. Some older actresses would have been nicer I think, these are still quite young. Then that whole thing about botox and the like and an adulterous husband who runs off with a green leaf was just that little bit more believable. I actually always quite like Bracha van Doesburgh, especially in the way of looking and moving. I don't think Hadewych Minis is a comedienne, she seems a bit contrived to her, that exaggerated walk, for example, is not funny at all. The moment that she hangs so very theatrically above that grave did her good again.

In fact, Moordwijven is a repetition of moves and Maas does exactly the same as what he already did in Flodder: making fun of rich people, but worked out slightly differently. It's still funny to see all those bastards together, expensive sunglasses, champagne… and underneath that a cheap keyboard tune like that. Once in a while I did laugh out loud, especially with the harder jokes, such as the reference to 9/11: 'Watch out, there can always be a second (plane) coming!' or a band called 'The Fucking Holocaust' taking home a best act of the year award in striped suits. But overall the humor is pretty bland. A show like 'A man comes to the doctor' might be just as flat, but I personally find it a hundred times funnier.

The air bubbles in the canal, what does Maas mean by that?
