"Based on a novel by Kauko Röyhkä"

It's 1977. Punk and New Wave have now reached remote Finland and even the town of Oulu, where strange-looking youngsters appear on the streets with a message. This appeals to seventeen-year-old Välde, who dreams of playing in a rock band and becoming famous. He wants to get drunk for the first time and win the heart of Pike, the prettiest girl in the class.
