Miracles plot
After a failed marriage, Roger (Tom Conti) and Jean (Teri Garr) are now also divorced. They have just broken up when, trying to avoid a pedestrian, they crash into each other's car. The pedestrian is a Mexican thief who has just robbed a bank and seizes this opportunity to take the two hostage. They end up in Mexico where they experience one adventure after another.
