The Sperlings theater establishment in the heart of Vienna is the main address for excellent entertainment. Even the renowned Hotel Sacher recommends its guests to stop by if they want to have a nice evening. Humorous sketches and dance revue alternate. The theater's success is mainly due to Ferdinand Mikosch, Otto Schumrich and Max Sperling, whose military burlesque program ensures one burst of laughter after another. The program offers thrills, but also causes problems because the Imperial and Royal army can not laugh at the 'military humor'. After a turbulent night, the theater makers are even arrested.
