Metal Detector Maniac plot

"He's A Metal Detector Maniac! A Metal Detector Maniac! Oh Yeah!"

Matt Farley and Tom Scalzo are two music professors who are currently on sabbatical. In the public park, they see a man who has been examining the same patch of grass with his metal detector for over an hour. They wonder if he's a peace-loving hobbyist looking for historical artifacts. Or could it be that he's a devious maniac? One who hides in plain sight and waits for an opportunity to prey on innocents? Suspicious, Matt and Tom decide to protect their sleepy community and investigate.
