Merci les Jeunes plot

After the slums of Paris went up in flames as a result of serious riots, the government inaugurates a plan to provide funding to non-profit organizations working in the neighborhoods. The aim behind the plan is to better occupy the development of the programming of the 'children of the projects'. Mathieu and Romuald receive funding to expand 'Quartier TV': a local TV station based in the community center near Mines outside Paris. A dynamic and eclectic team is formed by Nadia, a young radical journalist, Farid, an archeology student, Souleymane, a promising young host and the seductive Leila, a film school intern. When they make different and original TV shows, there are gradually differences of opinion between the members.
