Mejor Es Que Gabriela No Se Muera plot

"Life can turn into your own soap opera."

Miguel, the writer of the soap opera 'Destiny of Love', drives a stolen car with some friends and with drugs in his pocket when he is stopped by the police. Things look bad for him until he reveals who he is. It turns out that Agent Brancho is a big fan of the series. He begs him for some news and Miguel tells him that Gabriela, the villain from the series, is going to marry her lover. Brancho lets Miguel go and soon begins to brag to everyone about this news. Unfortunately, Ana Victoria, the actress who plays Gabriela, turns out to be leaving the series and Miguel decides to cut her character from the series by giving her a deadly disease. When Gabriela's illness is revealed in the following episodes, Brancho is pinned down at the police station...
