Meine Schwester und Ich plot

After sixteen years, Princess Maria Christine von Esch-Köningsborn returns to her father's castle to announce her intention to marry the King of Slovenia. On her way, however, she has a chance encounter with the young engineer Rudi Becker, and it is love at first sight. To avoid the proposed marriage, she decides to pose as Christl the shoe saleswoman, the princess's rejected twin sister, and thus, with her father's blessing, win Rudi's heart for good.
