Gerda Wagner, caring mother and housewife, after 10 years of happy marriage, suddenly gets the idea to make a career as a pop singer. She once had singing lessons and her voice still sounds beautiful today. A chance meeting with the idolized Italian singer Fabiani awakens in her the original thought of going on stage herself. Much to the chagrin of her husband Gustl Wagner, who manages the record department in a department store. But Gerda is not afraid of anything or anyone in her wish and goal...
